Splanchnic Nerves

The splanchnic nerves are paired visceral nerves (nerves that contribute to the supply of the internal organs), carrying fibers of the autonomic nervous system (visceral efferent fibers) as well as sensory fibers from the organs (visceral afferent fibers).
